I am a certified therapeutic massage therapist living and working in the Colorado Springs, CO area.

I studied for 1011 hours through Pikes Peak Academy of Therapeutic Massage.  I chose that particular school because of the medical emphasis on massage rather than New Age or Eastern styles of massage.

I concentrate on the medical style of massage for my clients.  I use a combination of Swedish, Sports, Deep Tissue, and Neuromuscular massage.

Every client is different even though they may have the same symptoms involving the same muscles.
I take into consideration the overall health of the person as well as, their pain level, range of motion, pressure tolerance, and how their muscles respond, just to name a few. 

I am very conscious of my clients comfort level through-out the massage.  It is an unwritten rule that every client/therapist has the right to end a massage at any time with any explanation.  Along with adults, I work with children and survivors of sexual abuse.  Each case is assessed and may require special accommodations.

I use medical history forms, status sheets and Dr. permission slips for business, medical and legal documentation.
